Vegan BBQ Stew – a weaning winner!

Here’s a weaning recipe packed with summertime barbecue flavour! Depending on your child’s age you can choose to leave this chunky or whizz smoother to give baby by spoon or Doidycup. It’s also a recipe that all the family can enjoy (top up the barbecue seasoning) and you can add to it with Quorn or other vegetable proteins.

Ingredients:
1 medium onion, chopped
2 large carrots, peeled and diced
1 large potato, peeled and diced
1 tablespoon of maple syrup
200g of chopped tinned or fresh tomatoes
½ teaspoon of paprika

Method:

Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees
In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients until well combined.
Place all the ingredients in an oven proof dish, cover with a lid or foil and bake for 35mins.
To make this into a soup, just add a little breast or formula milk and puree until you reach the desired consistency. Enjoy!
