Baby's Christmas lumch recipe

Is it your baby’s first Christmas this year? If they’ve just started weaning this is the perfect recipe for either a traditional puree or served as baby led weaning finger foods!

Many thanks to The Happy Kitchen Food Company for their super recipe.

Ingredients:

3 small carrots
4 brussel sprouts
1 small bunch of flat leaf parsley
1/2 cup of poached turkey or chicken breast, shredded.
1/2 a low or no salt stock cube

Method:

1.Peel and chop the carrots and prepare the brussel sprouts.
2.Place the vegetables in a saucepan, cover with water add the crushed stock cube and boil until tender.
3.Drain the vegetables, leaving a little of the stock and either purée/ mash along with the shredded turkey or chicken and the parsley OR if you’d like to serve as finger foods, simply cut to a suitable size for your baby to pick up with their fingers.
4.Add breast or formula milk to achieve your required texture if serving as a tradional weaning puree/mash.
