The jolly people at The Happy Kitchen Food Company have created some fabulous Christmas themed weaning recipes especially for the Doidybowl.
Here’s a super delicious Festive Fruit Purée!
2 dessert apples 2 ripe pears
Half a teaspoon of cinnamon
2 tablespoons of baby rice (optional)
Breast or formula milk to mix
1. Put the peeled and cut fruit into a saucepan with the sultanas and cinnamon and approximately 4 tablespoons of water.
2. Cover and cook until tender.
3. Serve as finger foods or blend into a smooth purée and add baby rice or milk until you reach your desired consistency.
Serve in your Doidybowl and baby can enjoy these lovely Christmassy flavours!
