Festive Fruit Puree – Weaning Recipe

The jolly people at The Happy Kitchen Food Company have created some fabulous Christmas themed weaning recipes especially for the Doidybowl.

Here’s our first a super delicious Festive Fruit Purée

Ingredients:
2 dessert apples2 ripe pears
Half a teaspoon of cinnamon
2 tablespoons of baby rice
Breast or formula milk to mix

Method:
Put the peeled and cut fruit into a saucepan with the sultanas and cinnamon and approximately 4 tablespoons of water.
Cover and cook until tender.
Blend into a smooth purée and add the baby rice and milk until you reach your desired consistency.

Serve in your Doidybowl and baby can enjoy these lovely Christmassy flavours!
