Festive Veggie Balls – A winning weaning recipe!

Festive Veggie Balls


1 small onion, chopped
1 large carrot, peeled and chopped
4 stalks of flat leaf or curly parsley
4 slices of bread
1 apple, unpeeled and chopped

Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees

Blitz the bread in a food processor to make bread crumbs and put to one side.
Put the remaining ingredients into the food processor and blend until smooth, mix this with the bread crumbs and add a little breast or formula milk if needed.
Shape the mixture into walnut size balls and pop on a buttered baking sheet or on baking paper and bake for approximately 20 mins.

These are a perfect finger food accompaniment to our Christmas Lunch recipe ( see next post!) and are also delicious dipped into a homemade tomato and vegetable sauce.
