Alice Gair is a Paediatric Occupational Therapist and mummy!

As a mother & an Occupational Therapist (O. T.) having worked in adult learning disabilities & in paediatrics I have long recommended the Doidy Cup for its unique shape facilitating transition from a spout to a cup. Its slanted design helps the child  see the content as they drink & doesn’t make them tip their head back, allowing improved control.

The DoidyCup enables good hand-eye coordination & the open handles enable either whole cup hold or handle hold. There is an enticing range of colours great not only for motivational aspects of using the cup but also for those with visual impairment further promoting independence. The relevance of this is that it means that this cup is good for typically developing children, assisting with the weaning process, but also for people of any age with various physical, neurological & sensory difficulties.
